Notes

I am making this shawl for my niece. She is getting married next May, 2014. When I first ordered this yarn from JBW I thought it would have been perfect since the color is snow. But when I received it I was a bit disappointed because it is actually a cream color. After much thought I know it is the perfect color because my niece is from Florida and the color is so natural it reminds me of sand. I don’t think she will wear this on her wedding day but she may wear it for her bridal shower or girls night out or just maybe out to dinner on her honeymoon. But I hope this shawl will remind her of her beautiful wedding day in 2014.

I beaded the shawl on row 3 of the lace pattern and continued it every other row until row 10. The beads are size 8 seed beads, duracoat Matte Met. Silver. The beads look like antique white. I beaded the shawl with dental floss. Each bead row took about 2 hours. It was slow but worth it.
