Giving this pattern a try for the Sanguine Griphon yarn I bought at Sock Summit 5 years ago. I looked it up and Bog Fritillary is a butterfly… the last pair of socks I knit for Steve were in a butterfly colorway also. Huh.

This was a nice knit. I followed the pattern exactly as written (may have gained an extra stitch or two at the heel turn somehow but was able to fix it with no problem) and they perfectly fit my husband’s feet.
