I made this pattern last year for my daughter; now she is “commissioning” me (payable in housecleaning) to knit it for her bff. It is a fun knit and I will use the reverse colors from the version I made for her. I may or may not find a team to compete on for the Ravellenics.

Finished on Friday, Feb. 23. Main photo is pre-blocking. Cast on with size 2 needles for inner hem, switched to size 3 for body of hat. Knitting went quickly when I was able to sit and listen or watch; didn’t happen at all for several days when I was sick or busy or both.

I will be going to the Portland production of Hamilton with my daughter next month; her friend will be celebrating her birthday and going on another date. Though I’m not directly in the Hamilton Musical “fandom,” I am reading the Chernow biography in preparation for the show and finding fascinating details on every page.
