I am guessing about the yarn; it is a destashed yarn from AuntyJ with no ballband. She was sure of the colorway name because it is so memorable and thinks it is mediumweight. It is knitting up at a bigger gauge than regular sock yarn though, so I’m not sure. I’m making the small size.

Actually, I switched after the first few pattern rounds to the extra-small size. I will probably make the second sock entirely in this size.

2/23/19 - Finished the first sock. There were nine total repeats of the triangle pattern before the cuff. I began heel shaping at the end of the fifth repeat.

Finished the second sock yesterday. This pattern requires you to Wrap and Turn, and I found this video helpful in the first heel, and then I used these instructions for the second heel. Pretty sure they are different, but also pretty sure I couldn’t tell the difference. Also I have been confusing M1L and M1R for years without noticing it. Funny how I’m getting a brush-up on many different techniques for this knitalong.
