I rarely follow a pattern to the letter but for this hat I did. And I’m thrilled with the results. It fits and flatters.
Like others, I needed to vastly increase the length of yarn to reserve at cast on in order to pick up the 55 stitches along the bottom. I’m guessing it was closer to 30 inches or so.
