This is a lovely pattern for a first crochet project. Very good instructions and photos so easy to follow.
I will definitely be making another but next time will choose an softer, silkier yarn.
I used a 3.5mm hook which gives a fairly dense finish.

I so enjoyed this project and tried out all the stitches I learnt at my beginners course. I only wish I had chosen a chartreuse yarn instead of the pale yellow in the border
