Changes

To stabilize the armholes, I first worked SCs around the edges, then seamed the shoulders.

I extended the shirt to 18”, but it’s still way shorter than I like. I’ll definitely need to wear a camisole underneath.

Due to the different yarn weight, I ended up casting on 142 stitches, or 71 per side. I also worked in the round.

Problems

I made several changes and I’m not happy with the result. If you read the pattern, you’ll see that the author knit and purled tbl. I really liked the look so I decided to use tbl stitches.

Unfortunately, the shirt now twists to one side. I think it does this because I worked in the round, then switched to working back and forth once I divided for sleeves. I don’t think this would have happened if I had knit two pieces and seamed them together, instead of working in the round.
