I’m doing a checkerboard layout with quartered dark/light of blue and green. At this point, I’m going to check how much of the Cocoa Kiss Smooshy I have leftover from gifted socks. I’m thinking that would be great to do a decorative seam with and then do an edging. I’m thinking slip stitch crochet for the seam. The edging I’ll have to check my crochet stitchonaries for something that won’t overewhelm the rest.
7/10 Decided that November Muse Classy worked better for the seams. The ladies at Bloomin’ Yarns helped out a stash buster with some leftover Blue Lagoon and Summer Sky for the last couple of blue squares.
7/13 All 60 4x6 blocks completed and in for a quick wash.
7/14 All items now steam blocked.
7/15 Decided on layout and started on row seams
7/18 Finished the row seams and started on column seams.
7/21 Finished column seams.
7/23 After taking yesterday off due to hot steamy weather and no a/c while they replace my furnace and a/c, I finished the edging today. Just a quick pop in the wash to smooth it all out before gifting.
