Some modified versions of the Feb Doll Sweater.
Others improvised :)
Notes for the Lattice St sweater (yellow):
It’s a modified form of the February Doll Sweater with the lattice stitch pattern inserted. I use the lattice directions here (but you can find them many places): http://www.theweeklystitch.com/2012/07/quilted-lattice-st...
Start the FBS as usual (I use worsted on 6s) but only increase to 117 instead of 118 as the lattice pattern is 6+3 and you need another 3 on either side for the button band.
Once you get to row 12 of the FBS pattern, purl that row instead of knit. Then on the next row (row 13), start row 2 of the quilted lattice stitch pattern. This will be the right side of your sweater.
To divide the sleeves (row 15, I believe) K3 for button band, Work 15 st as row 4 of the lattice pattern (this will be a front panel). Slip next 27 st onto a scrap piece of yarn to hold. This will be a sleeve. Work the next 27 st as row 4 of the lattice pattern (back). Then slip the next 27 onto a scrap piece of yarn to hold (other sleeve). Work next 15 as row 4 of lattice pattern (other side of the front) and then the 3 button band stitches. Continue knitting the body of the sweater in the quilted lattice pattern and remember to do the garter stitch border at the bottom as in the FBS (unless you don’t want to, of course). After you are done with the body, pick up the sleeves and begin knitting in the round beginning with a row 4 of the lattices stitch pattern. You will now knit the purl rows since you are knitting in the round. The sleeves also end with the garter st border. I hope that makes sense and answers some questions!
Orange sweater mostly improvised, some use of EPS. :)
