Just popped this pair into the wash to felt…here’s hoping they turn out as well as my mom’s pair did!

My MIL has a size 7 foot, so I made the 7/8 size and used an H hook. I won’t really know if they fit her until I give them to her, but I think the sizing will be good.

I made the pattern as written this time, so I need to find some good buttons to put on the toe strap.

So twice through the wash and they felted up nicely, but they are still too big. I know my gauge was spot on, so that’s not it, but the 7/8 size is still a bit loose on my 8.5 foot. hmm…I know the washers in my apartment laundry room aren’t that great, so it might be that. I think I’ll run it through one last time and see if they shrink up any more. If they don’t these will be for me and I’ll start on a smaller pair for my MIL.

Another run through the wash and they shrank up enough that I think they’ll work. They fit pretty snug on my foot, so I hope they’ll stay on her smaller feet. I guess we’ll see. I’ve added some navy blue buttons from my stash. They look nice, but I’m not overly excited about them. They’ll do though.
