I really really really adore this pattern. I don’t think I mentioned it in my last project, but I’ve worked a row of SC in my starting chains instead of just jumping into the lace patterns as written. I just don’t like working DCs into a starting ch, so I figured I didn’t have to. :-D

Saying it again: The project itself isn’t too difficult, but the pattern wording is confusing so I don’t recommend it for a beginner (or the sleep deprived!)

Second time using Knit Pick’s Palette for a large project. I love the stitch definition and oh the colors…drool. It’s a bit on the stiff and scratchy for me to love it unreservedly, but it might just need to be broken in a bit to soften up. I usually work with cotton and blends, so it also might just be my own prejudice.

Made the 3T/4T size with exactly one skein of yarn! yay!
