Mosaic crochet technique carrying colors and using next color to finish previous single crochet… hopefully to keep stripes aligned.

Inspired by gifted “watermelon” colored vintage (1970’s) acrylic yarn - so intense, it sparkles!

The name refers to a technique/trick my daughters introduced to me when they were young… to think about or even yell about something completely nonsensical - such as “Watermelon!” - which will redirect anxiety and fear - any of those primitive emotions that can quickly take us over in a crisis! It works! No idea where they got it - maybe from school guidance counselors?
