Notes

Drilled holes with 3/32” drill bit and Dremel. Not very precise - but only a few mistakes. Holes where strap removed filled with E2000 Glue - might need a 2nd application - along with minor repair of drilled holes that tore through.

Used ‘size 1’ hook (not sure what that translates to) to do foundation row with cotton. Wondered if it might have been easier to just use some Red Heart acrylic or fingering weight for that row?

Using size D hook instead of G for subsequent rounds - it makes a firmer fabric.

Hibernated too long, so I wasn’t sure what modifications I’d made… and the instep insert looked weird… so frogged back to the first few rounds… going to print out http://www.ravelry.com/projects/bonnyknitsforyou/flip-flo...
and make notes so that right/left are roughly the same. I am so NOT a crocheter (knitting is so much easier for me!)
