Notes

Attempting to apply Monster-Making technique (open mouth construction) from Crochet Monsters book (Megan Lapp) to knitting with so-so results. Crazyballs are a great way to use up really short leftover tails - I generally double it up with with a 2nd strand of ‘regular’ yarn just in case the knots come apart. I try not to get too perfectionistic - but occasionally I will bypass a scrap that just doesn’t ‘go with the flow’ - but it helps to suspend all judgments in general - and the results usually work out.

The (Devilsh) Divine continues to make an appearance… for the arms. And I STILL have more to use up. worried

I engineered two-color irises by adding a 2nd ring of color around the 1st ring - single crochet, single crochet into stitch below (same stitch - i.e. 2 for 1) and then sc in next sc… result is a spike of outer ‘color’ separated by 2 sc’s.
