This is rather fun! Using some neon sockyarn mini skeins I bought several years ago in a ”grab bag” mystery skein purchase several years ago… along with some odds n ends from a patchwork sock that I had frogged. Did a figure-8 cast on of 6 stitches for the center and used dpns to keep things tight until switching to magic loop for the last few rows. “Increases” are 2 stitches from one (my total count was off when I didn’t realize this!)

Probably going to do just a front - not a pillow - and figure out a way to mount on the wall… pillow would get smashed!

Diameter looks to be about 11” - too small for the wooden circle thing I bought at Big Box Craft Store (so disappointed in how depleted their in-store selection has become post-pandemic… they have run most of their competition out of business!!!)
Hubby suggests I use wooden area to mark numbers but that sort of defeats purpose of knitted clock - wonder if there’s a pattern for small knitted numbers to appliqué?

Glued the finished circle onto a Prepared 11” diameter Clock board - had to fuss a little to realign the stripes in the middle - but it should work to make a pretty solid clock. The Clock Works have a built-in hanging tab on the back - its sticks out - so it won’t be flush to the wall. Pictures as soon as I assemble and hang it up.

I found a couple of free patterns for crocheted numbers - I think I have some Black Crochet Cotton and will dig out my teeny tiny hooks. Could leave them off, but there isn’t a good distinction between some of the adjacent colors (unlike the original - which used 3 highly contrasting colors!)

for numbers with a thick black crochet cotton - and they were too big (about 2” tall) and didn’t show on some of the backgrounds.

Found some of the smaller weight yesterday… will try again with that… and maybe ‘white’ for the darker sections? Otherwise, there’s a smaller number pattern for $$ that MIGHT work.

Final note: Giving up on adding numbers getting the clock works right - color and depth (had to rout out the back of the wood disk) was enough to nudge me to declare it DONE. I’m even going to leave the ragged edges from slight differences in yarn thicknesses. It is… gasp… Good Enough!
