Notes

How many different ways can I use this really… interesting… yarn to make hats to sell at the Scrap Exchange Craftland Holiday Extravaganza??? :) Original sweater was white, dyed with Kool-aid and Easter Egg dyes in attempt to recreate ‘sunset’ colors - but it’s more like cotton candy, if I had to pin it down. Yarn was skeined in 8-yard loop - so it would self-stripe. It’s 100% wool and has 6 to 8 plies (depending how well the yarn held up).

Done - I finished 6 hats - 2 of the fish ones and the other 4 shown here. All of the non-fish hats took just a small amount of time and small amount of yarn - this would be an interesting ‘Knit-A-Long’ challenge - I guess I need to propose one! Anyone else into ‘repurposing’ - Message me!
