One of my take-along projects for my recent trip to Kenya. I live in North Carolina, where wool socks are ‘too much’ most of the year - so I wanted to try the ‘space age’ fiber combo in Solemate… Along came Craftsy with a sale… Naturally, I picked the BLUE!

Pattern isn’t complicated but was a bit much for the 36+ hour plane trip (not total flight time - but the layovers are killer, especially since I need a cpap to sleep and I didn’t not pay extra for seats with outlets. If I EVER do it again, I’m either getting battery pack or paying the bigbucks for a sleeper seat. Yeah right!)
