The pattern was easy to follow and the entire project worked up in about 2 hours. Pattern calls for a 3.5mm crochet hook, but I didnt have that size, so I used 3.75mm (F hook) instead.

I snapped pics of it next to normal sized Q-tip packaging and cotton balls to give a real sense of the size of 12 inches (30.5 cm) in length

Once the Q-Tip is finished I think it would make a fun toy, or an interesting conversation piece.

I dont have cats, but I have lots of friends and family that do. I also think stuffing this with catnip would be a terrific gift for your feline friends.
