This design concept is adorable. I ran into a problem with the hat part of the pattern. The number of stitches in Rounds 3 and 4 dont match, so I decided to create my own quick pattern. I made the hat in two separate peices, using regular crochet stitches in the round for the dome part and then making a ribbed look band and attaching the two together.

Used G hook for the hat
Used F hook for the ribbed hat border, the heart and the white banner

The heart and white band were straight forward and easy to follow. I’m giving this as a gift to a friend who is expecting her first baby. I know she’ll love it.
