Notes

I frogged this TOO many times but finally am happy with it. Chaining 35 did not work - HAVE to chain 36. That made it too big.

So then I decided to chain 28 and it was perfect. But get this….I loosely crochet and have been told to do my chain in a one step up larger hook. That has never worked. So THIS time, I did the chain with an “I” hook and then crocheted the item with an “E” hook and it is perfect. Almost completely square. Ever heard of such a thing? Crazy. But maybe now I have figured out my trick.

Another tweak: Chaining 3 made this too “holey”. So when I started over again the final time, I chained only 2 every place it said to chain 3 and I LOVE it. Highly recommend it. Otherwise, fingers will go through it when wet. BTDT.

Now struggling to understand the final decorative edging but when I cross the mental hurdle (as usual), I will be done shortly. lol
