Enjoyable project and a nice clear pattern. Really love the arm detail.

Decided to go up a needle size from 4mm in the pattern to a 4.5mm needle to make sure that I didn’t tighten up too much during the knit as I often find my gauge changes after swatch making as I settle into a knit.

Pattern gauge: 21 sts x 28 rows st st (33.5 rows lace)
My gauge: 20 sts x 25 rows st st

Size: 3
Pattern chest: 50.25”
My chest: 54.5”
My sweater actually worked out at pattern size 4! What a difference gauge makes. But I’m fine with that. The positive ease for this pattern is 14-14.5” so I was aiming between size 3 and 4 any way and I wanted to make sure I kept the oversize feel.

Due to my row gauge being off I also had to modify sleeve length. I made first sleeve as per pattern but it was so long I decided to work 4 reps of the lace pattern, not 5. That worked out perfectly.

Very happy with how this looks on me, and it’s a lovely easy jumper to wear.
