Suddenly decided that I wanted a red scarf to go with a new blouse I brought and I had this knit crate yarn sitting there, so that seemed like it was meant to be.

Made a scarf using nearly one whole skein but didn’t really love how it turned out. Well, it wasn’t what I wanted at least. Too linear and I wanted some dangly bits on the ends which I couldn’t get working at all. (13.5g left)

Had a second go with the other skein and that was much better I think, although there are worrying resemblance to some kind of seaweed dwelling creature with tentacles! Not sure that’s ideal for a scarf come to think about it…. Humm!

Held yarn double for the second attempt. (8.5g left)
