I think it takes about 13 metres to make one of these. They are catproof!

I can make 30 of them, so that’s 600 minutes of non stop knitting and a bit of sewing up, to use up a 100gram ball of acrylic DK.

These little mice have been very popular as small take home gifts for cat lovers in the charity shop I volunteer for and I have already knitted about 100 of them. The most recent batch of 40 are “sugar” mice ready for the Christmas opening.

April 2014. I knit these all the time now, for the charity shop, as they are really popular…people just love to buy presents for their cats and their friend’s cats and their friend’s friend’s cats……
