Notes

Washi and Gima knit together create a light, dry handle fabric, dry like linen but soft, perfect summer. Pay attention to not split the yarn combo and knit through all loops, particular when you knit with a color combo like I did, mistakes will show up but I do love the marled effect they have produced. To stay on the save side knit with same color for both yarns.

I couldn’t come up with gauge, wanted a denser fabric, no see through so the sizing is a bid out. Started with M and increased to XL, overall shirt on the large side. The slope of the shoulder too steep? In hindside I could have knit on bigger needles, under weight the yarn combo fills out more the stitches, go figure.

Didn’t follow the pattern succession for SS / Garter. My shirt is done only in knit stitch so the Garter section is over the Arm openings, above and below SS. I like this better than having the bulky Garter section around my bulky middle section = bad combination and who doesn’t need a descend bust increase? Any takers? Definitely me!

Will make more of these easy going summer shirts. Might try one in stripes - color or texture.
