Notes

What a relaxed ride this was. If you are after fast success, make this in ASA, project and material are made for one another. Can’t wait to hear what my personal Guru has to say.

It took me around 4 hours, the treetops where easy as, the biggest fear I had was stitches jumping off the machine while I manhandled them into place but no, lucky me, nothing! The bind off is somewhat a challenge, it has to be spot on with linen, I used 4 mm needles but think next time I might give 3.5 mm a go, the ends are a bid wide compared to the body.

You have to be careful with the tools not to split ASA, the silk / cotton / linen threat, that can cause drama. But after a bid of practice that was easily done.

When it comes to a wrap - for me one of the rare cases - when bigger indeed is better.

Treetop: Move every 2.S, then knit on Tension 10 over all stitches, release the wraps by pushing every 2. needle forward, lengthen stitch by pulling all needles back, twist and Tension back on 6, knit and done! Easy!
