Notes

I am so proud, I finished the owl, no it’s a ninox! …

This genius of Ninox was hard to capture. All went well until I tried to get hold of it’s ears, and wouldn’t you know it, they simply disintegrated. The eyes where the first struggle to get them to sit right and have enough stretch to go over the head, then came the ears and I admit I am pom pom challenged!

The first lot of pom-poms ears where too big and not tightly enough wrapped, but this second lot I do hope will survive the adventures in megalopolis. They look a bid big but I am sure a haircut or two can shape them to size. Don’t all girls love to play hairdresser at some stage?

Anyway, it took some doing to nurse the poor thing back to health. The struggle went on for over 8 month and boy am I glad I finally caught her so I can send the specimen to London for my beloved niece to treasure and enjoy.

Off you go, fly to your new home, hoot hoot!
