Working through my collection I discovered that the Habu Knitted Linen Tape used in this top is very similar to Belisia which I have in my stash, so what’s holding me back - WINTER need big wooly things now, let’s do this in spring for summer!

Spring is here and so is a new yarn: Katia Lino and on the machine it went.

The first one in aqua was on the small side and shrunk in the wash some more = too small. Didn’t like the look of the different gauge between hem and body, the yarn doesn’t generate a real difference in the fabric.

So I opted for the second try in grey to do the hem in Garter and I do like this a lot. Because I start getting demented forgot that the neck was too tide - remember Linen has no give dearest Sonja - so I can only with difficulty squeeze my head through. Also the shoulder straps are too wide in this one - what was I thinking?

Oh well, all good things come in three’s apparently, so let’s do it again, this time hopefully it will fit.

Done in navy, what can I say perfection! See, practice makes perfect! Now just the pants …. or maybe better the sailor shirt first …
