I’ve sneakily added one or two of my own designs to fill in the time - looking forward to April’s squares. Might stick to just four colours so I’ll need five squares of each. Decisions, decisions…

Time passes… It’s good to come back to these squares as a peaceful respite from a hectic life! Trying to keep each one reasonably uniform in texture and density so I’m missing out the more lacy designs on offer, although they are just as lovely.

Sticking to five colours after all, as they all go together so well. Enjoying the project so much I may expand it to a 5 x 5 square.

Finished the fourth green square with Agnes, one of the designs put forward in the members’ choice this month. Just two more to go if I’m sticking to 4 x 5 but who knows? There are four more months to go, with eight more squares…

September 10, 2023

Finished the turquoise and pink squares with Landyn Tahj and Adelheid - both lovely designs. Now have enough for the 4 x 5 throw with one blue one left over - decisions decisions again! - so I’m going to join these and save squares from the next three months towards another blanket.

(Did a pick-one-out-of-a hat job on the blue squares to see which one to leave out - sadly it was Helen’s Flower, but I love it just as much as the others and it will DEFINITELY go in next time.)

Joined and edged 20 squares to make a good-sized sofa throw. Made the edging up as I went along - planning to publish it some time. Really pleased with the result. Soon to be handed over to a friend who says she loves it!
