This has been on the back burner for quite a long time, since just after we moved down south from the midlands 16 months ago. What with one thing and another it got delayed…

I was asked by a lovely lady here on Ravelry (who by coincidence lives in the same county we had just moved from) if I could design a square to match the tiles in her kitchen. An irresistible challenge! To cut a (very) long story short I came up with a reasonable approximation of the tile as shown here along with a simpler, complementary design and combined them in this afghan. It was a most enjoyable project with (I hope) a pleasing result!
