This pattern is most easily worked by following the chart. I was not confident using charts but followed this one easily. The written instructions are much harder to follow.

I repeated most of Part 3 (I left out rows 31 and 32) between Parts 5 and 6 to use up as much of my Whirl as possible but ended up running out. The Grappa Whirlette was an almost exact match to the dark purple.
