My new finished object is this new project I designed. I call it “Oakenshield Tunic”. blush
I used a brownish merino wool and variegated, fall coloured yarns held tripple. Those were a gift from a friend and more of a lace weight. But they turned out great held together. I made this a very roomy tunic and played with moss stitch, braids and other features, such as: sewing on a bobble ribbon on the front of the tunic and a buckle on the back, which I salvaged from an old jacket. The front also has a crochet flower detail and a label and wooden button. Because it reminded me of rustic medieval clothing or something out of a Fairy Tale, I named my tunic Oakenshield Tunic, after the Dwarf King of “The Hobbit”. blush
