The English pattern is incredibly confusingly written. It jumps around all over the place, has extra descriptions for things that don’t need it, and not enough description for things that do. For one thing, somewhere in the yoke instructions it says the cable repeat is every 13th row, but then it says you can do a cable on row 7, but then it says to do the next cable on the route after joining, which is only row 17, not 19 or 20 like it suggests. Looking at the images from the pattern itself, it looks like the neckline is not the same as written. It also wasn’t clear where exactly to start the purl columns in the front sections, it was only through prior experience that I figured out how exactly it should be done, and that it needs to mirror the other sections. This is the messiest yoke instruction I’ve ever used, and I have knit a lot of top down raglan sweaters. I’m pretty sure this designer did not use a tech editor for the English version. I would really call this more of “knitting suggestions” than a real pattern.
