I ended up making this more fitted than I originally intended to. Somehow I always think I want baggier sleeves and then when I try them on partway I hate them, so I rip back and redo them smaller. I think I ended up with about 4” positive ease in the body and with fitted sleeves. I did started decreasing 2 stitches every 4 rounds at sleeve chart row 56, down to 56 stitches for the cabled ribbing.

I did not use the extra skein of DITW and ended up taking out a few long stretches of navy in the yoke and in one sleeve because I wanted more color transitions. Somehow I ended up with one sleeve containing the only green in any of the 3 Shades of Earth skeins! It’s a little off since it doesn’t seem to fit in with the rest of the sweater but I don’t think I mind it?

I know that DITW is supposed to be thick and thin, but some bits were so thin that I’m worried they could break in the future? So I guess we’ll see how it wears and hope for the best… At least the color progressions are just gorgeous and I do see why there is so much love for this yarn.
