I used the Deathflake Chart in my plan to knit a pillow. There are 4 repeats of the chart with 1 knit in between the front skulls and 2 knits in between the side skulls.

I knit the pillow in the round, which saved me some seaming but I’ve noticed that switching colors while knitting in the round can be tricky. Make sure to not pull your yarn too tight! I pulled it a little too tight in some places, but I still think it will fill out nicely when it’s stuffed.

I’ll write out exactly what I did at a later date.

The pillow has been knit and is closed on one side. I haven’t decided yet if I’m going to stuff it or buy a 12” pillow for it (or better yet, find a perfect-fitting pillow at a thrift store).
