This afghan was inspired by ocean colors and daisies. Since I only made it 2-motifs wide, it turned out a little “skinny”. To give it a little extra width, I primarily used a star-stitch on the sides. The finishing round consists of: (ch 2, hdc) in the next stitch, skip one stitch; repeat around all edges.

I mainly used the joining technique from Tropical Delight. I seem to use this joining a lot lately :-) I love the simplicity and it tends to “square up” the motifs nicely while still lending an interesting texture to the overall afghan.
