This pattern turns out great every time I do it!!

I used a J-hook and a tighter gauge for my grandson’s cap and used a K-hook for the larger hat.

This pattern works up quickly and is easy to adjust for for various sizes. I’ve made this pattern several times now and sometimes I change the number of decreases before the brim, sometimes I add an extra row (for a total of 80 sts) before the brim, and sometimes I do both depending on the size I’m shooting for.
