I did a few extra rows on this hat, both times, because the pattern came out a little short. I also did a red (or dark blue) slip stitch around the entire hat to finish off the ear flaps and give the brim a little less stretchy. The Blue/gray version is for our Robotics coach, who wore it with a blue tutu at the Ft. Lauderdale FIRST competition.
