I wanted to experiment with using an intarsia pattern on this pouch. I thought the heart would work well as I was not sure how much I would need to alter the proportions to allow for shrinkage when I felted it.
The vintage Icelandic aran weight yarn felted really thoroughly and very quickly by hand.
I did not want to spoil the heart design so I used a sew in press stud to hold this pouch shut
