I wanted to try out my own colour scheme instead of using a self striping yarn. I’m knitting the standard pattern just changing colours every fourth row.
Still not sure if these colours work together, I think I like them…. Well I’ve knitted to much to stop now, just one more leg and then the arms and hat to go. Dolls always look so different once they are finished anyway!
All finished now and I’m pretty pleased with him.
I started the arms with the second colour in the pattern, as I wanted to sew them just below the neck gather area, and I wanted the stripes to line up around the body and arms.
