Notes

This is a stripped down version of Alice Starmore’s St Brigid - only the central cable, front and back, is kept. The rest of the body is kb1p3 rib. A simple closed cable runs from wrist to shoulder on each sleeve.

Further modifications: knitted around, bottom-up, with saddle shoulders shaping.

I named this project for St Margaret, patron of Scotland, women’s education, and large families. St Brigit, as a celibate religious may have have had time for an elaborately patterned project -but I’m sure St Margaret was always too busy, and would have chosen something simpler.
