21st August: Bottom done, afraid of the pick up and knit twisted, so will leave that for tomorrow …

23rd August: Finished all the knitting including two future inside pockets today. Even the dreaded i-cord worked out well. So off to the washing mashine tomorrow …

24th August: It’s blocking! I was so afraid of felting it, fearing it might felt together, but it’s fine. It took two runs through the washer.

25th August: It’s dry already so I put in the straps. I haven’t yet sewn in the inside pockets though and I’ve decided to make the bottom stronger with a piece of cardboard with knitted cover and to add a closure

Dimensions before felting:
24 x 11 x 31 cm (= approx. 9.6 x 4.4 x 12.4 in)

Dimensions after felting and blocking:
18 x 9 x 16 cm (= approx. 7.2 x 3.6 x 6.4 in)

That’s a shrinking of:
25% x 19% x 49%
