May I present to you British singer Laura Marling in her Glastonbury Festival 2011 outfit? My brother is a huuuuge fan of hers and he asked for a crocheted version of her for Christmas - so I went crazy :)

This is truely the most detailed project I’ve ever made. Body is the free spirit amigurumi doll, except the head - I made a smaller version to make the doll look more realistic. The nose is stitched on, the rest of the face is painted. Clothes are improvised, as is the jewellery, which is crocheted with a 0.6 mm needle and sewing thread. I also improvised the guitar as I could not find any pattern for a guitar in this size. I decided not to put strings on it because I thought they would make it look too messy. This was a huge effort to make, so I hope that my brother likes it (completed Christmas present number nine!)
