All in all, I like this pattern. I made the mistake of following directions solely from the YouTube video (first sock) … Designer explains things well and thoroughly, but I found the video really Mumbly. Like I had to kick everybody out of the living room and put on earphones. Once I knit one, and figured out what she was trying to do, the written instructions were fantastic.
I like her use of short row shaping, and her explanation of why… And I appreciated her input about blocking before sewing in the ends. Not some thing I thought about before, but makes so much sense.
