Incorporating the Carrick Bend Cap knotwork into a capucine hood for my friend Lucy - to trade with her Boat Gnome Mercantile project!

Modifications:
Used crochet cast on for clean edge instead of provisional cast on (since I won’t be joining.)

Working the carrick bend cable in a smaller needle for windproofing. Separating the cables instead of keeping each knot joined for a more recognizable knot.

To line the headband:
Picked up and knit with larger needles per carrick bend cap instructions. (102 stitches) Worked 5” of stockinette.

Followed Capucine instructions in stockinette only.
