I counted at least 15 skeins of Crafters Secret to make the afghan, using 3 colors. I was impressed with the yarn over all, not much of a color change notice when running out of the die lot.
Did have a bit of bulking and knotting but nothing to serious.
To bad the yarn is made in turkey, (I’m American made) good thing you can use the 40% coupon.

I wanted something diffrent than the butterfly band, I worked rows of roses around the edge to make the afghan look more finished, also worked another “bphdc” to finish with “slst” to make the edge look finished.

It’s crazy; I used the hook change as suggested and still puckering, not as bad but still. I don’t like pulling anything to stretch it that much.

Isn’t blocking over rated?
In the future, when the afghan is washed, won’t it need blocked again?

I’m good with the odd look.

I love the pattern and will work a few more, (for the kids). Maybe I’ll try the blocking as I work the next ones.
