Notes

Cast on 20. I love this yarn but have been very disappointed with it the last 2 times I’ve made this cowl, as there have been a break & knot in each one. Once, it was just a few yards into the skein. I know it’s inexpensive, mass-produced yarn…but c’mon!!! Grrrr. It means two more ends to sew in, and I hate, hate, hate that. >:(

But the cowl itself turned out as lovely as ever. M is tiny, and I made this one tall enough so she could turn it down at the top and still have a enough width to keep her neck warm. Plus, this yarn loosens and drapes nicely over time.

I added my flowers for the pictures, but they won’t be gifted along with it. I got these a couple years ago at Michaels. But they look soooo pretty, I am going to have to buy more for gifting with cowls in the near future. It’s just too pretty. OR I can learn to make them (I feel another craft obsession tingling…)

Oh--I did make the blue flower. It’s felted. :)
