Amusingly enough, I made these gloves far into spring and just as I was finishing the fingers of the first one up, it started to hail.

The pattern is my own, inspired by many fair isle books. The palm is my favorite seeding pattern, the thumb self-explanatory, and the back of the hand a modified star pattern from one of the said books. I love thumb gussets!

I might have chosen to make the corrugated ribbing longer, as it doesn’t pull in well.
