Cardi test for the lovely Beatriz, test thread here.

Yarn I’m using is marked as Aran but feels like a light worsted. I may not have quite enough of it so I might have to pair it with something else if needed. Will also have to check gauge since the weight of the yarn might put me slightly off gauge. Will be knitting size 1, may block to size 1 or 2, depending how things go.

If I run out of yarn, I may use a contrasting colour skein Elsebeth Lavold Hempathy for the last 2 rows of third rib section and the full third wings section.

Third rib section done. Don’t think I’ll need the contrasting colour, pretty sure I have enough to complete it (I can work about 46 rows with one skein).

Fourth rib section done. Washed and sent off to the blocking mat. Gauge turned out spot on, blocked on size 1 measurements!

I had enough yarn for a 12 row collar, yay! I think this design would look even better with an even more poofy and generous collar. 4.5g left. Now just have to weave in the ends.
