I did 3 flowers to match Poppy the pink trolls head band … I couldn’t find a pattern so I improvised and came up with this. The 3 flowers consistent of 2 size petals, Two flowers have 3 petals and One flower has 4. I also sewed on the leaves I made to the back. 3 leaves for the Two flowers with 3 petals and 2 leaves for the flower of 4 petals.

Also a side note for the Weave Ends part. I always do the invisible join since I already have to cut the yarn and weave the ends plus it looks like no start or end to this hand made craft. After I invisible join I run the yarn down the outer edge of each peta to make it stiff and not rolling in. Some flowers in a MR I run the yarn on the bottom row around the ring and it perks them up too. I also ran it up and down the petal of the leaves. It’s like blocking without having to do the blocking for me.

I am a fan of the magic ring/circle ring but couldn’t get it to work with this pattern. So… you have to Chain.

FLOWER PETALS:
Chain 8, SC into the 2nd chain from the hook. Sc each stitch to the end.C) After Repeat End with SlSt to the first SC you made.

Repeat ] TWO MORE times for 3 petal flowers or THREE MORE times for the 4 petal flower. Each set will have 7 SC.

** after you SlSt you can do either the Larger petal or the Smaller petal. On my Two 3 petals I did one 2 lg. And 1 small. The other was 2 small 1 large. t have to SlSt to the next or CH to the next petal.

** LEAVE LONG TAIL FOR WEAVING FOR PETALS AND LEAVES **

LARGE PETALS:

Work the same as the small petal but the pattern in the brackets will be SC, DC, TRC, TRC, TRC, DC, SC Ch. 1 SlSt to the Ch 1 space on the opposite side.

LEAVES:

CH. 11, SLSt to 2nd ch from hook, SC the next, HDC the next, DC into the next 4 Sts, HDC the next, SC the last two stitches. (10 Sts.) Repeat for the number of leaves you want. SlSt to the first SC you made and attached to petals.
