Notes

So here she is…Lucy Lemon….
She’s ready to reach into the ever growing Salad Bowl….

She has a Twist of Lemon, placed on her Hat.
And a Lemon at her Feet.

She is the Sign of Summer….xxxx
Hope you like her.xx :)

A lot of people ask me about my bases so,
I thought I’d share my little secret with you all.

My lovely husband makes me my bases, and this is how..
He cuts some round shapes out of wood,
Makes them smooth with sandpaper, then stains the wood and then varnishes it to finish.
Last but by no means least, he puts felt onto the bottom of the wood, so it dosen’t scratch any other surfaces.
Then he drills a small hole, so I can put a small wood stick ( barbecue stick cut in half), into the doll and base.

you don’t have to make circles, there are so many different shapes you can make….**

REMEMBER I ONLY USE THIS METHOD FOR DISPLAYING MY DOLLS.
IF YOUR MAKING YOUR DOLLS FOR A CHILD NEVER USE THIS METHOD.
I DONT WANT A CHILD GETTING HURT BY A BARBECUE STITCK…!!!**
